Exporting configuration items to SCCM Console

The following procedure describes how to export configuration items directly to the SCCM Console.

Procedure

  1. From the Lenovo Configuration Pack Editor menu, click Export > Export to SCCM Console. The Select the Configuration Item page opens.

  2. Select the configuration items you want to export and click Next.

  3. Select one of the following options:
    • The SCCM Console is on the local machine

    • The SCCM Console is on a remote machine, and then enter the following information:

      • Machine Name
      • User Name
      • Password
  4. Click Next.
    The Configuration Items Information page opens.

  5. Complete the following steps:
    1. Select Add a prefix name for the configuration items.
    2. Enter the prefix name.
    3. Select one of the following SCCM Console types for the configuration item:
      • For SCCM2007
      • For SCCM2012
  6. Click Export.
    A message is displayed indicating the Export succeeded..

  7. Click OK to close the Information window.
  8. Click Finish.
