Setting up XClarity Orchestrator
The initial setup of Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator involves installing the XClarity Orchestrator virtual appliance, configuring XClarity Orchestrator (including authentication, network, date and time, and security settings), and connecting resource managers.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have reviewed the prerequisites, including hardware requirements and recommendations, for XClarity Orchestrator (see Supported hardware and software – XClarity Orchestrator).
Ensure that all appropriate ports are enabled, including ports that XClarity Orchestrator requires (see Port availability).
Ensure that the resource managers that you intend to manage are supported and are at the required version levels (see Supported hardware and software – XClarity Orchestrator).

Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator is a for-fee application. You can use XClarity Orchestrator for free for up to 90 days using the free-trial license; however, after the free trial expires, you must purchase and install appropriate licenses to continue using applicable XClarity Orchestrator functions and to get XClarity Orchestrator service and support.
