Install the bottom cover

Follow instructions in this section to install the bottom cover.

About this task

Attention

• Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.

• Make sure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools or loose screws are left inside your server.

• Make sure that all internal cables are correctly routed. See Internal cable routing.

Procedure

1. Turn the keylock to the unlock position with the key.

2. Align the bottom cover with the guiding slots on both sides of the chassis; then, hold both sides of the cover and slide it forward until it is firmly seated.

3. Turn the keylock to the lock position with the key, and store the key for future use.
