Front + middle + rear backplanes: 12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA + 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA + 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA

This section provides cable routing information for configuration (one 12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA front drive backplane, one 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA middle drive backplane, and one 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA rear drive backplane) with one 32i RAID/RAID adapter.

32i RAID/RAID adapter​

Connections between connectors: 1 ↔ 1, 2 ↔ 2, 3 ↔ 3, ... n ↔ n
