Front + rear backplanes: 12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA + 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA

This section provides cable routing information for the server model with one 12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA front drive backplane and one 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA rear drive backplane.

  • Onboard connectors + 940-8i adapter
    This section provides cable routing information for configuration (12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA front drive backplane and 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA rear drive backplane) with onboard connectors and one 940-8i adapter.
  • 16i RAID/HBA adapter
    This section provides cable routing information for configuration (12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA front drive backplane and 4 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA rear drive backplane) with one 16i RAID/HBA adapter.
