Front + middle backplanes: three 8 x SAS/SATA + two 4x2.5 SAS/SATA

This section provides cable routing information for configuration (three 8 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA front drive backplanes and two 4 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA middle drive backplanes) with one 32i RAID/HBA adapter or two 16i RAID/HBA adapters.

32i RAID/HBA adapter​

Connections between connectors: 1 ↔ 1, 2 ↔ 2, 3 ↔ 3, ... n ↔ n

The illustration below uses one 32i RAID/HBA adapter as an example, and cable routing for using two 16i RAID/HBA adapters is similar.
