Remove the server from the rails
Follow instructions in this section to remove ST250 V2 from the rails.
S002
CAUTION
The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the power source.

CAUTION
Hazardous voltage, current, and energy levels might be present. Only a qualified service technician is authorized to remove the covers where the label is attached.

CAUTION
Hazardous energy present. Voltages with hazardous energy might cause heating when shorted with metal, which might result in spattered metal, burns, or both.

Attention

Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect the power cords and all external cables (see Power off the server).
Procedure

Your system might look slightly different from those shown in the illustrations.
- Remove the two M6 x 16 screws on the front of the rack cabinet.
- Remove the server from the rails.
Slide and pull the rack server tray out of the rack cabinet.
Lift the server out of the tray.
CAUTIONUse safe practices when lifting the server.
After this task is completed
Place the server on its side with the cover up.
