User roles

ThinkAgile CP offers role-based access control and access management for administrators of the ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller. ThinkAgile CP uses the construct of virtual datacenters as partitions to abstract away hardware, networks, storage, and capacity into logical groups of resources. VDC manager users and VDC viewer users are granted access to resources in each virtual datacenter. Infrastructure admin users can apportion resources of the private cloud into virtual datacenters and delegate administration rights and privileges to those virtual datacenters.

• Infrastructure admin
  The infrastructure admin role has the most expansive permissions and is responsible for creating and managing all aspects of a ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller installation.
• VDC Manager
  The VDC manager users have permissions to consume resources of virtual data centers that have been assigned to them.
• Infrastructure Viewer
  The infrastructure viewer user has the same visibility as the infrastructure admin user but cannot act on any of the objects in the infrastructure.
• VDC viewer
  The VDC viewer role has the same visibility as the VDC manager but cannot act on any of the objects in the virtual datacenter.
• No access
  The no access role acts as a staging role as a user transitions from one access role to another.
