Lenovo introduces a new version of the VX Deployer.

Software enhancements​

The following updates have been made for Release 3.1.0:

  • Updated software support.

    The ThinkAgile VX Deployer allows you to install and set up one of the following configurations:
    Note
    You cannot mix versions of VMware vCenter Server and VMware ESXi.

Best Recipe support improvements​

The VX Deployer 3.1.0 supports multiple custom ISO images for the same major version of ESXi, for Sustaining and Legacy products, as defined by the Best Recipe. The appropriate custom ISO will be automatically selected by the VX Deployer based on the detected hardware model. If you opt-in to install LXCI, when creating the vLCM cluster image, in addition to the Vendor Addon and the Firmware and Drivers Addon, VX Deployer 3.1.0 also configures the Components if required by the Best Recipe.
