Auto Video Settings

Click Video Recording > Auto Video Settings.

The Auto Video Settings page is displayed, including the following:

Video Trigger Settings

To configure video trigger settings, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Auto Video Settings > Video Trigger Settings.

    The Video Trigger Settings page is displayed.

  2. For Post-Event, check/uncheck a box in event list to add/remove that trigger for your system.

    Post-Event list:

    • Critical Events (Temperature/Voltage)

    • Non Critical Events (Temperature/Voltage)

    • Non Recoverable Events (Temperature/Voltage)

    • Chassis Power On Events

    • Chassis Power Off Events

    • Chassis Reset Events

  3. For Date and Time Event, check/uncheck “Date and Time Event” box to add/remove that trigger for your system.

    • Choose the month, day and year from the Date field.

    • Enter/Choose the Time in hh:mm format in the respective fields.

  4. For Pre-Event, check/uncheck “Pre-Event ” box to add/remove that trigger for your system. Choose “Pre-crash” or “Pre-reset” to configure the pre-event type for video recording.

  5. Click Save to save the settings.

  6. (Optional) Click Pre-Event Video Recording to edit the Pre-Event video recording configurations.

Note
  • For Post-Event and Date and Time Event, the system will record videos after the event occurs. For Pre-Event, the system will record a video before the event occurs.

  • Pre-crash only supports Pre-crash screen recording on Windows systems, not currently supported on Linux and other systems.

Pre-Event Video Recordings

To configure Pre-Event video recording configurations, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Auto Video Settings > Pre-Event Video Recording.

    The Pre-Event Video Recording page is displayed.

  2. To set video quality, select ranges (very low, low, high, average and normal) from Video Quality drop-down list.

  3. To set compression mode, select modes (high, normal, low, no) from Compression Mode drop-down list.

  4. To set number of frames per second, select frames/sec (1-4) from Frames Per Second dropdown list.

  5. To set duration of video, select second (10-60) from Video Duration drop-down list.

  6. Click Save to save the changes made on the Pre-Event Video Recording.

Note
  • Pre-Event video recording will not occur, while active KVM session or Post-event video recording is in progress.

  • The options for the Video Duration drop down list will change due to the previous settings.
