  • Power off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See Power off the server.

  • If the server is installed in a rack, remove the server from the rack.

  1. Press the release button and the push point at the same time; then, slide the cover toward the rear of the server.
  2. Lift the top cover away from the server.
