Install the integrated diagnostics panel

Follow instructions in this section to install the integrated diagnostics panel.

About this task

Attention
  • Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.
  • Touch the static-protective package that contains the component to any unpainted metal surface on the server; then, remove it from the package and place it on a static-protective surface.

Procedure

  1. Connect the cable to the integrated diagnostics panel.
  2. Align the integrated diagnostics panel with the slot in the front of the 8U GPU shuttle, and slide it in.

After you finish

  1. If necessary, reinstall the front fans. See Install a front hot-swap fan.
  2. Complete the parts replacement. See Complete the parts replacement.
