Installing power supplies

This topic provides information about the installation of the 750-watt dc, 900-watt, and 1400-watt hot-swap power supply.

This server comes with one 750-watt dc power supply, one 900-watt power supply or one 1400-watt power supply (depending on the model). This server supports up to two redundant power supplies. For the server to support two power supplies, you must install the optional Power Interposer for Redundant Power option or the optional Microprocessor and Memory Expansion Tray.
Note
You cannot use ac and dc power supplies in the same server.
