Changing the service-recovery password

If Lenovo XClarity Administrator becomes unresponsive and cannot be recovered, you can collect and download service data and logs for that XClarity Administrator instance. The service-recovery password is needed to access the service for collecting and download data.

Before you begin

You must have lxc-service-admin or lxc-supervisor authority to change the password.

Note
Ensure that you record the password for later use. You cannot recover an unresponsive management hub without using this password.

For more information about using the service-recovery password, see Collecting and downloading service files for an unresponsive Lenovo XClarity Administrator.

  1. From the XClarity Administrator menu bar, click Administration > Service and Support. The Service and Support page is displayed.
