Install the top cover
Follow instructions in this section to install the top cover.

CAUTION
The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the power source.

Attention
Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.
Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools or loose screws are left inside the server.
Make sure that all internal cables are correctly routed. See Internal cable routing.
Procedure
Install the top cover.
Align the top cover with the guiding slots on both sides of the chassis; then, slide it backwards until it is firmly seated.
Lock the top cover with the key, and store the key to the key holder on the top cover for future use.Figure 1. Installing top cover
