Removing an advanced management module
You can remove the advanced management module while the BladeCenter S system is powered on. To remove it, disconnect all cables, open the release handle, and slide the advanced management module out of the BladeCenter S chassis.
If the advanced management module that is currently installed in theBladeCenter S chassis is functioning, make sure that the configuration file has been saved before replacing the BladeCenter S Types 7779 and 8886.
See the Advanced Management Module User’s Guide or the Advanced Management Module Command-Line Interface Reference Guide for instructions for saving and restoring a configuration file.
