Uninstalling a hub
Complete these steps to uninstall a Lenovo XClarity One Hub virtual appliance.
Procedure
To uninstall a hub virtual appliance, complete the following steps.
- Unmanage all devices that are currently managed by the hub from the XClarity One portal.
- Uninstall the hub, depending on the operating system.
- ESXi using VMware vCenter
- Connect to the host through VMware vCenter.
- Right click the Lenovo XClarity One Hub virtual machine in the VMware Host Client inventory, and select Guest OS from the pop-up menu.
- Click Shut down.
- Right click the virtual machine in the VMware Host Client inventory, and select Guest OS from the pop-up menu.
- Click Delete.
- ESXi using VMware vSphere
- Connect to the host through the VMware vSphere Client.
- Right-click the Lenovo XClarity One Hub virtual machine, and click Power > Power Off.
- Right-click the virtual machine again, and click Delete from Disk.
- Hyper-V
From the Server Manager dashboard, click Hyper-V.
Right-click the server, and click Hyper-V Manager.
Right-click the Lenovo XClarity One Hub virtual machine, and click Shut down.
Right-click the virtual machine again, and click Delete.
KVM
Connect to the host using the Virtual Machine Manager.
Right-click the Lenovo XClarity One Hub virtual machine, and click Shut Down > Force off.
Right-click the Lenovo XClarity One Hub virtual machine again, and click Delete. The Delete confirmation dialog box is displayed.
Select all check boxes, and click Delete.
