Nominal temperature exceeded
The nominal operating temperature of the shelf has been exceeded. Either a fan has failed, an obstruction is blocking the air flow, or the temperature of the room is too high.
If the temperature of the shelf continues to rise, the affected shelf may automatically shutdown. Fix the problem immediately before it becomes more serious. The automatic shutdown conditions depend on the model of the shelf.
Recovery Steps
Are any fan failures being reported in the Problems area?
If yes, replace the failed fan using the recovery steps in the Fan Failed procedure listed in the Problems area.
If no, remove any obstructions that may be blocking the storage array's air intakes or outlets. If no obstructions are found, correct any potential room cooling problems, and then go to step 2.
Select Recheck to ensure the problem has been resolved.
