Triggered alerts

The triggered alert list displays all triggered alerts in vCenter. You can confirm or reset each alert.

About this task​

From the alert list, you can view alerts in each state and of various object types.

Alert state (severity)​

  • Warning (Action can be deferred, or no action is required.)
  • Critical (Immediate action is required.)

Object type​

  • Virtual machine
  • Host
  • Cluster
  • Datastore

Operations​

  • Confirm (Confirm an alert and add the confirmation time and confirmer to the alert.)
  • Reset to green (Resetting an alert to green will remove it from the list.)
