Remove the PMB status LED cable

Follow instructions in this section to remove the PMB status LED cable.

CAUTION
The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the power source.
Attention

Procedure

  1. Make preparation for this task.
    1. If necessary, remove all the WLAN antennas. See Remove the WLAN antennas.
    2. Remove the top cover. See Remove the top cover.
    3. Remove the PMB air baffle. See Remove the PMB air baffle.
    4. Lift the riser assembly from the node. See Remove the riser assembly from the node.
    5. Remove the processor air baffle. See Remove the processor air baffle and air flow sensor board.
    6. Remove Fan 2. See Remove a fan module.
    7. Remove the rear dust filter. See Remove the rear dust filter.
    Note
    If necessary, remove the rear operator panel for easier operation. See Remove the rear operator panel.
  2. Disconnect the PMB status LED cable from the power module board; then, carefully remove the cable from the cable clip.

  3. Stab the sleeve of the PMB status LED cable with a pointed tool to detach the cable from the chassis; meanwhile, pinch the front end of the PMB status LED cable, and pull it outward to remove it.
