Install the MicroSD card

Follow the instructions in this section to install the MicroSD card.

About this task

Attention

  • Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.

  • Power off the server and disconnect all power cords for this task.

  • Prevent exposure to static electricity, which might lead to system halt and loss of data, by keeping static-sensitive components in their static-protective packages until installation, and handling these devices with an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system.

Procedure

  1. Install the MicroSD card.
    Note
    After the MicroSD card is removed, the firmware historical data and user data stored in the defective MicroSD card would be lost. After a new MicroSD card is installed, subsequent firmware update history will be saved to the new card.

  2. Place the MicroSD card into the socket.
  3. Close the socket lid.
  4. Slide the socket lid to the lock position.

After you finish

If you are instructed to return the old RAID flash power module, follow all packaging instructions and use any packaging materials that are provided.
