Remove a flash power module
Follow instructions in this section to remove a flash power module.
About this task
Attention
- Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.
- Power off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See Power off the server.
- If the server is installed in a rack, remove it from the rack. See Remove the server from rails.
Procedure
- Disconnect the flash power module cable from the extension cable.Figure 1. Flash power module cable disconnection
- Remove the flash power module.
Gently pivot the retaining clip as shown.
Lift the flash power module up and remove it from the holder.
