Install a storage board assembly

Install a storage board assembly by inserting it in the storage tray, pushing it in until it locks in place, and connecting the cables.

CAUTION

The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the power source.

Complete the following steps to install the storage board assembly:

1. Align the upper and lower storage board assembly boards with the rails in the storage tray; then, insert the storage board assembly.
2. Slide the storage board assembly into the storage tray until the release clips on the lower board snap into the locked position.
3. Connect all cables on the storage board assembly that go to connectors in the storage tray. See Internal cable routing.
