How to Install Veeam Backup & Replication

This section covers the set of instructions required to install Veeam Backup & Replication on ThinkAgile CP.

To install Veeam Backup & Replication, follow these steps:

1. Download and install Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition as described at the following link:

   https://www.veeam.com/virtual-machine-backup-solution-free.html

2. Create a virtual machine on the ThinkAgile CP stack. This virtual machine acts as the Backup Server.
   Note

   • Use a Lenovo Windows template from the Lenovo Cloud Marketplace.

   • The virtual machine needs to match the following Veeam system requirements:

3. Set up Veeam Backup & Replication as described in the official Veeam documentation:

   • Veeam Backup Free Edition User Guide

   • Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows
