Working with application instances

In ThinkAgile CP, an application instance refers to one or more virtual machines (VMs) grouped together to provide a specific set of software capabilities for an end user. For example, an application instance might be a simple VM running Windows 10; and another application instance might be a VM running CentOS 7 with Docker.

Supported Operating Systems

ThinkAgile CP currently supports application instances running the following Operating Systems:
  • Red Hat (CentOS/RHEL/Scientific Linux) 6/7/8 (64-bit)

    Note
    When manually installing Red Hat, version 8, the networking is not enabled by default. To enable networking, see the following topic:

  • Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Desktop/Server (64-bit)

  • Microsoft Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (32-bit/64-bit)

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2/2012/2012R2/2016 (64-bit)

  • FreeBSD 10.3

Note
