Manage your infrastructure
The topics in this section of the administration guide describe the tasks available for managing your infrastructure, which can be accessed in the left navigation menu of the Cloud Controller UI under the General heading.
- View events
You can easily view system event notifications for your infrastructure. - Manage notifications
You may want to review notification settings to enable or disable Web, email, and SMS notifications for events across your infrastructure. Notification settings can be modified for the following categories: Organization, Account, Networking, Compute, Migration Zone, Storage, Datacenter, Applications, User Actions, or Hardware. - Manage categories and tags
Compute Categories and Tags are used to specify which application instances run on a compute node. An instance can be migrated from one compute node to another by modifying the compute category or tags of the instance. - Manage self-service
ThinkAgile CP offers role-based access control and access management for administrators of ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller. An Infrastructure Administrator can apportion resources of the private cloud into virtual data centers (VDCs) and delegate administration rights and privileges to those VDCs. - Manage developer options
In ThinkAgile CP, API tokens are used for authentication via developer scripts. The ThinkAgile CP Web Services API requires a security token to use the API. The purpose is to inform the API that the bearer of the token has been authorized to access the API and to perform a specific action. - Manage organizations
An organization provides a way to organize and manage your ThinkAgile CP hardware resources. Creating multiple organizations is useful if you have a need to keep independent hardware stacks; for example, if you are a managed service provider and are responsible for managing multiple independent hardware stacks belonging to different clients. You can view, modify, manage and create new organizations for your ThinkAgile CP infrastructure. - Manage your ThinkAgile CP account
You can modify your account information for your ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller user account. - System reporting
