Assigning a baseline to a collection

You can assign a baseline to a collection to check the settings of clients in that collection. The following procedure describes how to assign a baseline to a collection.

Procedure

1. In the Configuration Manager Console, right-click the new baseline and click Assign to a Collection.

   The Choose Collection page of the Assign Configuration Baseline Wizard opens.

2. Click Browse to select a target client collection and then click Next.

3. Select a schedule for the baseline validation.

   • Simple schedule

   • Custom schedule

4. Click Finish to exit the Assign Configuration Baseline Wizard.
