Viewing configuration item properties

The following procedure describes how to view and edit configuration item properties.

Procedure

1. To view the properties for a configuration item, double-click a configuration item from the Configuration Items list.
   The Lenovo Configuration Item Properties page opens.
2. Click the Settings tab.
   The Settings tab provides a list of settings associated with the selected configuration item.

3. To view a setting, double-click a setting or right-click a setting and click Edit.
4. Click the Detection Methods tab.

   The Detection Methods tab lists the detection method for each configuration item. Detection Methods verifies whether the ASU.exe file exists on the endpoint. If the ASU.exe does not exist, the configuration item returns a state of Not Detected, and the children settings group ceases to be validated.
5. When you have finished viewing the configuration item properties, click OK.
