Using VMware Tools

The VMware Tools package is installed in the virtual machine’s guest operating system when you install Lenovo SDI Management Platform in VMware ESXi-based environments. This package provides a subset of the VMware tools that support optimized virtual-appliance backup and migration while preserving application state and continuity.
