Configuring customized settings

You can customize the Lenovo SDI Management Platform.

Before you begin

Ensure that you are a member of a user group to which the predefined Supervisor role is assigned.

About this task

Lenovo SDI Management Platform supports the following customized settings:

  • Login page configurations: Configure information such as images, cluster status display, and text information on the login page.
  • Visual large screen configurations: Configure cards, user logos, and title information displayed on the visual large screen.
  • Home page configurations: Configure the image displayed on the top of the navigation bar after the navigation bar is expanded or collapsed.

Procedure

To configure customized settings, click Administration () > Custom, and then complete one or more of the following steps.

  • Login page configurations

    1. Display the Lenovo logo in the upper left corner: Check this option to display the red Lenovo logo in the upper left corner of the login page.

    2. Display cluster status: Check this option to display the status of all clusters in the current system in the middle of the login page. The status can be Critical, Warning, or Normal.

    3. Show original copyright statement: Check this option to display the copyright statement of this product at the bottom of the login page.

    4. Display custom image on the right: Check this option to display the image you uploaded above the username input box on the right side of the login page. The image must be in .png format with a transparent background. If this option is unchecked, the ThinkAgile image will be displayed by default.

    5. Display custom subtitle on the right: Check this option to display the text you entered above the username input box on the right side of the login page. If the text is too long, it may not be fully displayed.

  • Visual large-screen configurations

    1. Display layout: When Lenovo XClarity Administrator XClarity is not connected, only the layout pattern of 3x3 is supported. When Lenovo XClarity Administrator XClarity is connected, the layout patterns of 3x3 and 4x4 are supported. You can preview the large screen and adjust the cards to be displayed on the large screen and their locations.

      • The solid line represents a selected card, and the dotted line represents an alternative card.
      • To change a card, drag this card to the selected location first, and then drag another card to the desired location.
      • Server topology diagram occupies the area of a minimum of two cards vertically. Press and hold the icon in the lower right corner to stretch it to occupy the area of three or four cards vertically. When a red solid-line box appears, it means that the card is in a non-compliant state and needs to be adjusted.
    2. Display custom images: Check this option to display the image you uploaded in the upper left corner of the large screen. The image must be in .png format with a transparent background. If this option is unchecked, the image will not be displayed.

    3. Display custom titles: Check this option to display the text you entered in the upper middle part of the large screen. If the text is too long, it may not be fully displayed. Click Apply to save the large screen configurations. Click Restore Factory Settings to restore the current large-screen card arrangement settings to factory settings.

  • Home page configurations Display custom images on the top of the navigation bar.
    • Image displayed after the navigation bar is expanded: Click Select file to upload the image to be displayed after the navigation bar is expanded. It is recommended that the image aspect ratio be 3:1.
    • Image displayed after the navigation bar is collapsed: Click Select file to upload the image to be displayed after the navigation bar is collapsed. It is recommended that the image aspect ratio be 1:1.
