Remove the MicroSD card

Follow instructions in this section to remove the MicroSD card. This procedure must be executed by a trained technician.

Procedure

1. Make preparation for this task.
   1. Remove the front top cover. See Remove the front top cover.
   2. Remove the rear top cover. See Remove the rear top cover.
   3. Depending on the server model, remove the following PCIe riser(s).
      • If the server is installed with three PCIe risers, remove the PCIe riser 2 and 3. See Remove a PCIe riser.
      • If the server is installed with four PCIe risers, remove the PCIe riser C. See Remove a PCIe riser.
2. Remove the MicroSD card.
   1. Slide the socket lid to the open position.
   2. Lift open the socket lid.
   3. Remove the MicroSD card from the socket.
