You can delete an external backup for an application instance.

Delete all external backups for an instance
Complete the following steps to delete an external backup:
- Log in to the ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller as an infrastructure admin or VDC manager user.
- Navigate to the details page for your application instance, and click the Backups tab.
- Click the actions menu (

- On the Delete externally saved backup confirmation dialog, click Delete.
A red x is displayed for the external backup while the deletion is in progress.

The external backup might take a few minutes to delete. When the external backup is deleted, the red x will be removed and the external backup icon will no longer be bold for this application instance. Local backup and quick DR backup copies for the instance are not affected.
