thermal command
Use this command to display and configure the thermal mode policy of the host system.
Running the thermal command with no options displays the thermal mode policy. The following table shows the arguments for the options.

-mode | Display the thermal mode policy and configures the thermal table of the host systems (read only) | normal, performance, minimal, efficiency, custom |
-table <vendorID_deviceID><table_number> | <vendorID_deviceID> specify the vendor and device ID of the component that requires alternate cooling. | 8 hex characters |
<table_number> specifies which alternate thermal table to use. | 1 = Low: Slight boost in fan speed 2 = Medium: Moderate boost in fan speed 3 = High: Large boost in fan speed 0 = Normal: No fan speed boost |

thermal [options]

-mode thermal_mode
