Uninstalling Lenovo SDI Management Platform

You can uninstall the Lenovo SDI Management Platform virtual appliance using virtual machine management tools.

Procedure

To uninstall Lenovo SDI Management Platform, complete the following steps:

1. Disconnect and remove all resource managers.

• From the Lenovo SDI Management Platform menu bar, click Manage () > Explorer to display the Explorer card.
• Select all resource managers.
• Click the Delete icon ().

1. Uninstall Lenovo SDI Management Platform using your virtual machine management tools.

• ESXi using VMware vCenter

  • Connect to the host through VMware vCenter.

  • Right-click the Lenovo SDI Management Platform virtual machine in the VMware Host Client inventory, and select Start from the pop-up menu.

  • Click Shut down.

  • Right-click the virtual machine in the VMware Host Client inventory and select Delete from disk from the pop-up menu.

• ESXi using VMware vSphere

  • Connect to the host through the VMware vSphere Client.

  • Right-click the Lenovo SDI Management Platform virtual machine, and click Power > Power Off.

  • Right-click the virtual machine again, and click Delete from Disk.
