Install the MicroSD card
Follow the instructions in this section to install the MicroSD card.
About this task
Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.
Power off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See Power off the server.
Prevent exposure to static electricity, which might lead to system halt and loss of data, by keeping static-sensitive components in their static-protective packages until installation, and handling these devices with an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system.
Procedure
If replacing with a new MicroSD card, the firmware historical data and user data stored in the defective MicroSD card will be lost. After a new MicroSD card is installed, subsequent firmware update history will be saved to the new card.

Updating Server Firmware
section in Lenovo XClarity Controller 2.
Place the MicroSD card into the socket.
Close the socket lid.- Slide the socket lid to the lock position.
After you finish
If you are instructed to return the old RAID flash power module, follow all packaging instructions and use any packaging materials that are provided.
