Windows 10 VNC performance

There are delays in mouse movement, keyboard typing, and opening applications in Windows 10 instances.

Cause

The KVM display driver for Windows 8 and later is a Display Only Driver, which lacks 3D/2D acceleration, unlike the driver for Windows 7 and earlier (click here for more details).

Solution

The VNC performance cannot be improved until a new version of the display driver is released. Using RDP instead of the ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller management console can bypass the display performance issues.
