Restart Guest Agent

The ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller Guest Agent runs as a service on Microsoft Windows and Linux application instances.

For more information about the Guest Agent, see Manage instance modes and guest agents.

To restart the guest agent, follow these steps:

  1. For Microsoft Windows:
    1. Navigate to Services.
    2. Locate the ThinkAgile CP Guest Agent.
    3. Right-click and select Restart.
  2. For CentOS 6.x:

    Execute the following command with root privileges:

    /etc/init.d/tacp-guest-agent restart

  3. For CentOS 7.x or Ubuntu 16.04:

    Execute the following command with root privileges:

    systemctl restart tacp-guest-agent

The ThinkAgile CP Guest Agent is now restarting.
