Uninstalling XClarity One
Complete these steps to uninstall a Lenovo XClarity One virtual appliance.
To uninstall a XClarity One virtual appliance, complete the following steps.
- Unmanage all hubs that are currently managed by the XClarity One portal (see Device discovery and management).
- Uninstall XClarity One, depending on the operating system.
- ESXi using VMware vCenter Server
- Connect to the host through VMware vCenter Server.
- Right-click the XClarity One virtual machine, and click Power > Power Off / Shut Down Guest OS.
- Right-click the XClarity One virtual machine again, and click Delete from Disk.
- ESXi using VMware ESXi Host Client
- Connect to the host through the VMware ESXi Host Client.
- Right-click the XClarity One virtual machine, and click Power > Power Off.
- Right-click the XClarity One virtual machine again, and click Delete.
- Hyper-V
- From the Server Manager dashboard, click Hyper-V.
- Right-click the server, and click Hyper-V Manager.
- Right-click the XClarity One virtual machine, and click Shut down.
- Right-click the virtual machine again, and click Delete.
- KVM (Ubuntu and Nutanix)
- Connect to the host using the Virtual Machine Manager.
- Right-click the XClarity One virtual machine, and click Shut Down > Force off.
- Right-click the XClarity One virtual machine again, and click Delete. The Delete confirmation dialog box is displayed.
- Select all check boxes, and click Delete.
- SUSE Harvester
- Connect to the Harvester Web UI, and go to Virtual Machines page.
- Click the ⋮ (three dots) menu icon next to the XClarity One virtual machine, and click Stop.
- Click the ⋮ (three dots) menu icon again, and click Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm the uninstallation.
- ESXi using VMware vCenter Server
