Mirrored volume - reserved capacity threshold exceeded
The reserved capacity for a volume in an asynchronous mirrored pair has exceeded the alert threshold.
The threshold is a alert that is triggered when the reserved capacity of a volume within a mirrored pair reaches the defined threshold percentage.
If the reserved capacity of a primary volume becomes full, synchronization of the mirror consistency group will not be suspended.
If the reserved capacity of a secondary volume becomes full, synchronization of the mirror consistency group will be suspended to preserve the recovery point for the mirrored pair.
If this problem is occurring frequently, you should evaluate the reserved capacity to determine if it is large enough for the mirroring configuration. You should also evaluate the reserved capacity threshold to determine if the setting is appropriate for the mirroring configuration.
The Remaining unsynchronized data field in the Details area indicates the amount of data that was unsynchronized at the time the reserved capacity reached the alert threshold.
Recovery Steps
Is the amount of unsynchronized data high or low in the Remaining unsynchronized data field in the Details area?
If high, you should either increase the reserved capacity or increase its alert threshold. Go to step 2.
If low, this problem may be a result of a a one-time, unusually high amount of write activity to the primary volume. Unless this problem begins to occur on a regular basis, the reserved capacity is likely adequate. Go to step 5.
Do you want to increase the mirrored pair's reserved capacity or its alert threshold?
If you want to increase the reserved capacity, go to step 3.
If you want to increase the alert threshold, go to step 4.
Increase the reserved capacity, and then go to step 5.
Go to . Then, select the Reserved Capacity tab.
Highlight the affected mirrored pair shown in the Details area.
Select Increase Capacity and increase the capacity appropriately.
Go to step 5.

Go to . Then, select the Reserved Capacity tab.
Highlight the affected mirrored pair shown in the Details area.
Select View/Edit settings and adjust the reserved capacity threshold to a value higher than its current setting.

Select Recheck to ensure the problem has been resolved.
