Mirror communication problem with fabric
The storage array cannot communicate with the fabric that connects the local and remote storage arrays.
This problem occurs for the following reasons:
The local and remote storage array are not connected through a switched fabric.
The storage array to fabric switch connection contains a faulty Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver on either the storage array or switch.
A loose, damaged, or disconnected cable between the storage array and the fabric switch.
The storage array is connected to a faulty switch or switch port.
Recovery Steps
Is the storage array and the remote storage array shown in the Details area connected through a switched fabric?
If yes, go to step 2.
If no, connect the storage array and remote storage arrays through a switched fabric, and then go to step 5.
Are any SFP Failed problems being reported in the Problems area?
If yes, replace the failed SFP using the recovery steps in the SFP Failed procedure listed in the Problems area.
If no, go to step 3.
Are the cables connecting the storage array to the fabric switch loose, disconnected, or visibly damaged?
If yes, correct the problem, and then go to step 5.
If no, go to step 4.
Does the switch the storage array is connected to show any indications of a faulty port, SFP, or other failure?
If yes, correct the problem, and then go to step 5.
