Remove the RAID flash power module holder

Follow the instructions in this section to remove the RAID flash power module holder.

CAUTION

The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the power source.

Attention

• Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.

• If applicable, remove the security bezel. See Remove the security bezel.

• Power off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See Power off the server.

• If the server is installed in a rack, remove the server from the rack. See Remove the server from the rack.

Procedure

1. Make preparation for this task.
   1. Remove the top cover. See Remove the top cover.
   2. If applicable, remove all the internal drives. See Remove an internal drive.
   3. If applicable, remove the internal drive backplane. See Remove the internal drive backplane.
   4. If applicable, remove internal drive cage. See Remove the internal drive cage.
   5. If applicable, disconnect the RAID flash power module from the extension cable.

2. Loosen the two screws that secure the RAID flash power module holder; then, lift the holder to remove it from the chassis.
