Riser card replacement

Use this information to remove and install a riser card.

Your server supports the following rear configurations:

8 PCIe slots: The server has eight PCIe slots, without any rear drive cage.

  • 1: riser 1 bracket, 3FH

  • 2: riser 2 bracket, 2FH1LP

  • 3: riser 3 bracket, 2FH

Rear 2.5-inch drive cage: The server has six PCIe slots, with a rear 2.5-inch drive cage.

  • 1: riser 1 bracket, 3FH

  • 2: riser 2 bracket, 3LP


Rear view 2

Rear 3.5-inch drive cage: The server has two PCIe slots, with a rear 3.5-inch drive cage.

  • 1: riser 1 bracket, 1FH

  • 2: riser 2 bracket, 1LP
