Application Template Requirements

Migration Manager is packaged as a template in the Lenovo Cloud Marketplace, called ThinkAgile CP Migration Manager. You need to download the template to the organization template store where you are performing the migration, and then deploy the ThinkAgile CP Migration Manager Console application.

The Migration Manager application can be deployed anywhere in your ThinkAgile CP environment, as long as the network connectivity outlined in the section, Before you begin, is available. The Migration Manager application will deploy a Worker template and a set of "donor" templates to the virtual datacenter designated in the Worker Configuration settings. You will notice that the virtual datacenter template store will have a large number of donor templates that will exist while Migration Manager is in use. Migration Manager Workers must be deployed in the same Storage Pool to which you want to migrate and deploy the target VMs.
