Renaming an application group

Infrastructure admin users and VDC manager users can rename an application group.

Complete the following steps to rename an application group:

1. Log in to the ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller.
2. In the left navigation menu, expand the virtual datacenter for which you want to create an application group, and then click the application group (under VDC Instances) to be renamed.

3. Under the expanded virtual datacenter in the left navigation menu, select the application group that you want to rename.
4. On the Actions menu, click Rename Application Group.

5. In the Rename Application Group dialog, enter a new name; then click Update.
   Note

   The name must be unique for application groups in the virtual datacenter

The application group is renamed.
