Workaround 1

This section covers the first workaround procedure for when disks go offline after adding a vNIC.

To bring offline disks back online, follow these steps:

1. Open Disk Management in the instance.
2. Right-click each offline disk and click Online.

The disks are online and remain as such through subsequent reboots.
