Viewing device status

This topic describes how to view the device list and status information about all servers in a cluster.

Procedure

To view the status of managed devices, complete the following steps:

Specific device status
From the Lenovo SDI Management Platform menu bar, click Resources (), and then click Hardware. All server hardware in the cluster will be listed.

The Status column shows the overall health status of the devices. The following health states are used: If a device is in an abnormal state, use alert logs for troubleshooting (see Monitoring active alerts).

() Warning
() Critical

The Connection column shows the status of the connections between the devices and Lenovo SDI Management Platform. Different connection states are listed below.

() Offline
() Offline while managed
() Online
() Partial

The Power column shows the power status. Different power states are listed below.
