Cluster hardware topology

Lenovo SDI Management Platform collects hardware health status information of hosts in a cluster and provides hardware topology and running status information of associated hosts.

Before you begin​

Click Resources () > Hosts > Hardware Topology ().

Cluster hardware status statistics​

Statistics on the hardware health status of hosts and vSAN disks in the cluster are collected.

  • Pie chart of all hosts: displays the hardware health status of all hosts in the cluster.
  • **VSAN host pie chart**: displays the hardware health status of all vSAN hosts in the cluster.
  • **VSAN Disk pie chart**: displays the hardware health status of all vSAN disks in the cluster.

Supported operations​

  • Click the number in a pie chart to list all associated hosts. A detailed hardware topology diagram will be displayed for each host, where you can quickly view the overall hardware health status of a specific host.
  • Click More on the left side of the host hardware topology diagram to open the host details page.
  • View operations
    • Refresh the hardware topology.
    • Show disk icon legends.
    • Show disk groups.
  • Host operations Control the LED of a host.
    • Host LED: On.
    • Host LED: Off.
    • Host LED: Blinking.
