Disable quick DR backups for an instance

Disabling quick DR backups does not remove any quick DR backups that have been created previously. After disabling quick DR backups, you can remove them individually or choose to remove all quick DR backups.

Complete the following steps to disable quick DR backups:

1. Log in to the ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller as an infrastructure admin or VDC manager user.
2. Navigate to the details page for your application instance, and click the Backups tab.
3. Click Set Up Backups.

4. On the Backups overview page, click Next.

5. The Local Backups configuration page is displayed. Click Next to display the Quick DR Backups page.

6. On the Quick DR Backups page, deselect Enable Quick DR Backups.
   
   
   
7. Click Next.

   The External Backups page is displayed. You can choose to configure external backups on AWS S3 or click Next.

8. Click Save to save your changes.

   The Quick DR Backups section shows that quick DR backups have not been set up. However, any previously created quick DR backups remain.
