Install the internal riser assembly

Use this information to install the internal riser assembly.

Power off the server for this task

ATTENTION: Static Sensitive Device Ground package before opening

To install the internal riser assembly, complete the following steps:

1. Install the internal riser assembly and install the super capacitor on the internal riser assembly. See Install a super capacitor module on the M.2/riser support bracket.
2. Align the pins and connectors of the internal riser assembly with the holes and connectors on the chassis, and then secure the assembly in place.

3. Tighten the captive screw to further secure the assembly.
