Remove hot-swap M.2 interposer and drive assembly

Follow the instructions in this section to remove hot-swap M.2 interposer and drive assembly.

  • Keep static-sensitive parts in their static-protective packages until installation to prevent exposure to static electricity. Handle the parts with an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding systems. Place the parts on a static-protective surface.

Procedure

Remove the M.2 interposer and drive assembly.

  1. Slide the release latch to the right to open the drive tray handle.
  2. Slide the drive out of the drive bay.
